Back To Nature was created in 2015 by two brothers; Dambar and Dempun. Back To Nature was envisioned as a perfect place for busy people and travellers to come and slow down, offering a peaceful place for guests to relax, eat healthy, organic food and practice yoga and meditation if they want to, as well as a number of other activities on offer.Back To Nature is an organic farm which offers accomodation in beautiful ayurvedic tents or dorm rooms. The lodge accomodation is comfortable and features both en-suite or shared bathrooms depending on your package choice. We pride ourselves on our clean mountain spring water and organic homegrown food. Anything we cannot produce ourselves is sourced locally. On the farm we grow our own fruit, vegetables and rice, we also keep bees to make our own honey, have a small number of buffalo for fresh unpasteurised milk, homemade yoghurt and butter, and free-range chickens for eggs. We also grow a range of ayurvedic plants which we use to make our own herbal tea blends.
Wake up with the sun and experience the breathtaking morning light cast over the Himalayan Fishtail and Annapurna mountain ranges. Pass the day relaxing with your favourite book or go on a day hike up the mountain or down to the local village with one of our guides. We have a social area with hammocks and comfy chairs where you can relax during the day when we’re not doing activities, and a bar and campfire where you can take in the sunset after your evening meal and socialise with other guests, staff and our two gorgeous German Shepherds; Lucy and Jango.
Wifi is free and available if you need it, but we recommend switching off your phone and connecting with the people around you.
Back To Nature has several full-time staff who live on site with their families. Suni and Prem are our amazing chefs, whipping up delicious vegetarian meals from our homegrown ingredients. Krishna and Laure are the creators of those homegrown ingredients; Krishna tends to the animals and Laure looks after the farm. The wonderful smiley Davi does housekeeping and assists with cooking. Padam and Gobin do everything from guiding jungle treks to building to farming and occasionally put on their dancing shoes with guests.
